Stock raised on pasture in Ghent, two hours north of New York City and thirty minutes from Hudson. Every pig we sell was born on this farm, grazed here, and handled daily.

KuneKune sales here follow the litters, which come a few times a year. When the next batch is ready to leave the farm we contact the waiting list first.
Farm visits are still by appointment. You are welcome to walk the pasture and meet the breeding stock before you decide.
Deposit by cash, check, or Venmo. Final payment by cash or Venmo at pickup.
Paperwork transfers with the animal.
What you should know before buying
They are grazers
KuneKunes get most of what they need from grass, so they suit a small pasture better than a commercial breed. Plan on roughly a quarter acre per pig if you intend to rotate.
Fencing is manageable
We ran two strands of electric wire for years, then switched to 24-inch electric netting so rotational moves are simpler for one person. Ours come already trained to a fence, and escape pressure is low: when a fence has been off, they have stayed by the herd rather than wander. They are not natural rooters either, so your ground and your fence line both last longer.
Pickup and transport
Bring a crate or a trailer with bedding. We will help you load and send you home with the feed they are used to so the change is gradual.
